Wineshopitalia.com was conceived with the conviction that taste is not defined by a fixed set of rules – on the contrary, it is in constant evolution. A number of producers have not been slow in championing this development, and they supply us with wines which are highly-drinkable, and free from the stuffiness and blind reverence for tradition which is so common in much of the modern wine market. These are wines which can satisfy the most knowledgeable of palates, and can provide an education for those who want to become connoisseurs, but who have until now felt overwhelmed by all the names, labels and pretentious people in the world of wine.

The criteria which we apply during our tastings are simple: we want to be sure that what we are offering you is, when all is said and done, ‘good’. Our selection is composed of wines carefully-selected from a wealth of producers - mostly Italian for now, but in time also from great vineyards outside Italy – all of whom are constantly striving to produce wines that give tangible pleasure.
